It`s a commissioned work for the famous Viennese actor Bernardon.  Not the most charmful piece about a certain Afflisio, which he wrote the lyrics for. This Afflisio was a theatre general director and a really shady guy.

My name is Franz Joseph Haydn, but please call me Jo. I was born on the 31 st of March in 1732 in Rohrau, in Lower-Austria. I passed away on the 31st  of May 1809.
