Jo's Corner - Question 3

My language is understood throughout the world

…this seems to be a quote of mine, but honestly, I was not capable of understanding all the languages of the world.

I spoke an Austrian dialect, knowing a little bit of Latin and  French.  But i was really fond of the Italian language. Ah yes, I also learned English on my journeys to London.
But I tell you something: Though I’ve been living in Eisenstadt, which at that time belonged to Hungary, for such a long time, I was not able to speak Hungarian.

Therefore i ask you to help me: What’s the Hungarian word for “family”? I simply cannot remember.
