Religion was naturally a big part in his education of virtues like order, truth and the like.
When he finished a composition he would add “laus deo” (praise the lord) or similar phrases at the end of his script.
God the allmighty (whom I have to thank for endless mercy) blessed me with musical talent by having me sing along with the choir with only 6 years.
If you look at the way he acted though, you’ll realize he didn’t take all his religious teachings too seriously.
